By Calling artists and crafters
Croom has had a very successful Christmas Market since we recovered from Covid. We are delighted to showcase artists and crafters from around the Midwest. Organised by Croom Community Development Association as a fundraiser we have worked hard on all fronts. Firstly, to spread the word to the artists, identify gaps so that there is a broad range of gift items and invite new (to us) artists to participate. Secondly to get the word out for shoppers through social media and the print media to ensure a good footfall.

In 2023 we increased the number of stalls to 50 and we still had crafters and artists hoping to exhibit with us in Croom. So this year we will have 46 stalls. This is an indoor market and you will be provided with a 6 ft table and chair. Why have we reduced the number? This is a community event and we always have a refreshment stand and tables to “park a husband!” or to allow a visitor to have a tea or mulled wine and then have a second look, thus increasing the dwell time, and giving the visitor every opportunity to take in all the exhibitors and gift items.

So how will we manage a reduced number of stalls? We want to ensure that we have a great mix of crafts and “new items” guaranteeing that you have the best opportunity to sell and that our audience is not disappointed. So we are inviting you to tell us about your products and we will curate the selection to ensure that we have a broad range of goods

Cost €20.00 per stall (one per Artist) Yes, great value, we know that we are not the most expensive Craft Market!
As part of the process of curating the stalls, we will give discount codes to the successful applicants.
