Croom Community Development Association (CCDA) is committed to the Circular Economy, to this end CCDA works hard to promote “shop local”.  In 2022 Croom hosted a community car boot sale.  This was an opportunity for people locally to buy and sell and ensure the longevity of goods.  The sale was a great success. On the day there were several artists and crafters taking the opportunity to sell their products.

From this event, it was felt that there was an opportunity to promote the work of local artists, food producers and those who create gifts and unique items. Croom Community Development Association is hosting a Christmas Market to support these artisan food producers, artists, and crafters. Croom Christmas Market will take place on Sunday, November 27th, from 12 noon to 4 pm at Croom Sports Hall on Bridge Street, Croom VW35 PT04.

The Christmas Market will have a range of exhibitors with Christmas gift ideas, decorations, and unique cards. “He Cooks a Lot”, Keith Piggott will have an assortment of his luxury Christmas Cookies, lebkuchen, white and cranberry and dark chocolate and orange cookies Clair Jones of Lough Gur pottery will be marketing a selection of her ceramics, Clair’s dishes and platters with bright colours and designs make great Christmas presents and birthday gifts.
