Croom Community Development Association (CCDA) winner of the March Person of the Month as
part of the Limerick Person of the Year 2023. So, who are we and what do we do. We are a
registered charity (CHY 8886). The most beloved part of Croom is surely Croom Town Park which
was developed 10 years ago by Croom Community Development Association but there is lots more to
CCDA. We are a small team working at the direction of the Board of Directors made up of members
from across the community.
Croom Community Development Association works across the community to better the lives of the
residents of Croom. CCDA
We hope that you will join us for one of our upcoming events from Croom Medical St Patricks Day
10k Run, the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Croom Town Park or our Car Boot Sale April 20th. Details of
these and all our events are on www.cromadh.com/events/all
We are very proud of this award and offer our thanks to Southern, the Limerick Leader and the
Clayton Hotel Limerick. This award is a recognition of the very ambitious board who rescued the
community centre, reimagined the Well Meadow to create our beautiful Croom Town Park and
created the community space that is the Civic Centre. With great thanks to the team at CCDA and our
partners Croom CE Scheme. None of this would be possible with the support of the community
attending events, taking part, making a donation, buying cards, playing bingo, taking the kids to a
sports event in the community hall or bringing a birthday party to one of the locations. Thank you all,
this is an award for Croom
